Bols Blue is the original and remains the world's best-selling Blue Curaçao. It is one of the oldest flavours in the modern Bols liqueur range and in the 19th century was known as "Crème de Ciel". It is prepared with a distillate of especially aromatic bitter orange peel.

Bols Blue's vibrant blue colour comes from a food colouring called Brilliant Blue FCF (E133).
