According to the label, Masquerido Mojito Flavoured Beer is a blend of 42% beer and 58% mojito flavouring, the latter including “sugar, acidifier, citric acid, natural flavourings, colour compound from safflower, antioxidant, ascorbic acid, acidity regulator, trisodium citrate, colour E133”

Appearance:

(sample best before 14/Jul/14) Clear, lurid lime green with thin white head.

Aroma:

Lime Opal Fruit/Starburst chews, kiwi fruit and apple with lager shandy notes.

Taste:

Reminiscent of a lager shandy sweetened and flavoured with boiled sweets and Rose’s lime cordial.

Aftertaste:

Candied lime peel and kiwi fruit with sherbet notes. More mature beer drinkers are obviously advised to avoid but Masquerido will be appreciated by its target market.
