Brewed since 1955, this is reputed to be the first beer brewed in Tahiti. The label features a distinctly Tahitian 'vahine' (Tahitian for 'lady' or 'women') illustration making this beer almost a must serve in every Tiki bar. Originally stubby, the long neck bottle (pictured) was introduced in 1998.

Appearance:

Clear, golden yellow.

Aroma:

Slightly metallic with a touch of raw beef/bouillon mix and red grapefruit zest.

Taste:

More citrus zest notes come through on the slightly metallic palate.

Aftertaste:

Little lingering flavour.
