Review and Tasting

Sampled on 19/01/2015

Appearance:

Clear (almost opaque), deep maroon red.

Aroma:

Intensely aromatic blackcurrant and blackcurrant jam with faint blueberry.

Taste:

Wonderfully rich and mouth enveloping. High sugar levels balance fruit acidity and amplify the flavour of the blackcurrant juice. Faint mint leaf and black tea.

Aftertaste:

Long, rich and fruity. Perfectly balanced with no bad aromas or flavours to detract from the rich fruit. Your teeth will stand on edge but your taste buds will be lining up behind them.
