Created 2010 by Rémy Martin's Cellar Master, Pierrette Trichet, Centaure de Diamant was released in June 2014 as Pierrette’s retirement was announced. Aimed at the travel retail market, Rémy Martin Centaure de Diamant is positioned above Rémy Martin XO and Extra but below Louis XIII.

Diamant Cognac is a blend of 250 cognacs (in turn blended from some 750 to 800 eaux-de-vie) from the Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne Fine Champagne regions, the youngest being 20 years old and the oldest 50 years old.
