One of four seasonally themed gins developed by Jurgen Lijcops, Belgian sommelier and owner of Michelin starred restaurant The Glorious. The four gins are based on 24 different botanicals, each distilled separately, with the appropriate distillates then blended to make each gin.
Unusually, even the base spirit used to make this gin is made by master distiller Patrick De Keersmaecker at the same small craft distillery on his organic farm in Emblem near Antwerp using cereals grown on the farm.
This “Summer” variant of the four seasonal gins label lists “blood orange, bergamot blossom and ginger” as being its predominant flavours.
