Made from Maguey Barril Agave cooked in an earth pit fired with oak and mesquite woods, fermented with wild yeast in oak vats then double distilled using a clay still and rested in stainless steel. Batch number L-009 distilled in 2006 comprised 540 litres with 60 bottles made available.

Appearance:

(sample from batch L009) Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Flinty minerality and earthiness, light brine and pastry with floral notes.

Taste:

Grilled and smoked pineapple with lime, vanilla and honeyed sweetness.

Aftertaste:

Sweet barbeque sauce drying with smoky bacon and black pepper.
