Review and Tasting

Sampled on 01/08/2015

Appearance:

(sample bottle Lot: SCM-128) Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Floral, grapefruit and lemon citrus with subtle smokiness. Subtle crème caramel and toffee.

Taste:

Slightly sweet with citrus zest, buttery fudge and vanilla. Some honeysuckle floral notes.

Aftertaste:

Long spicy, peppery finish with fresh lemon zestiness. Pleasing lingering acidity.

Overall:

Smooth and slightly sweet so a very approachable mezcal, while also complex with fabulous zesty citrus notes.
