Review and Tasting

Sampled on 06/07/2011

Appearance:

Clear, burnished copper with golden highlights.

Aroma:

Malty dried fruit and apple box nose with aromas of mocha coffee, boiled sweets, custard powder/advocate, light spearmint and clove spice.

Taste:

Rounded, fruity palate balanced by spicy oak and the merest wisp of peppery smoke.

Aftertaste:

Honeyed, malty finish with barley sugar and the merest hint of refreshing mint. There's plenty to hold your interest in this malt.
