The Chita Distillery is used exclusively for the production of grain spirits and bottlings of this award winning grain whisky are rare outside of Japan. It is more usually a component (we understand around 70 per cent) of Suntory's Hibiki blends.

Appearance:

Clear, pale golden.

Aroma:

Light grainy, hay nose with strawberry mouse fruit aromas and subtle liquorice.

Taste:

Young, fresh, run-like palate with overripe banana, honeyed fruit and pronounced nutty grainy notes.

Aftertaste:

Popcorn, overdone toast finish.
