Review and Tasting

Sampled on 05/06/2014

Appearance:

Clear, yellow golden amber.

Aroma:

Chocolate - both white and milk, vanilla oak, crème brulée, brandy butter/buttered toast and egg custard tart with nutmeg, spearmint and faint cardamom. More spicy with water.

Taste:

Initially creamy vanilla custard before charcoal, tar, toffee and spicy dry oak emerge and dominate. Again water amplifies spice.

Aftertaste:

Smoke wafts across the slightly sweet fruit wood finish.
