This single cask release celebrates the whisky's sponsorship of the 2012 Aberfeldy Festival. Distilled in 1991 and aged for 21 years in a hogshead before being hand-bottled at cask strength on 10th October 2012. A team of three wax dipped all 172 bottles and applied the labels by hand.
These were designed by local artist Ryan Hannigan at his gallery in Aberfeldy. Ryan hand carved woodblocks and set vintage letterpress type, which he then put through a manually operated proofing press and printed onto hand-made paper. The bees buzzing up the label and the gold wax seal represent the honeyed nature of this dram.
