A UK exclusive, released in December 2013, to celebrate Glenfiddich’s support of the Walking With The Wounded Charity. The first bottle will accompany Prince Harry and four servicemen and women, each wounded whilst serving in the armed forces, on their 335km race to the South Pole.
Glenfiddich Spirit of A Nation was aged 29 years in a single refill sherry cask filled on 14th February 1984 and then moved to an ex-bourbon American Oak barrel for a final few months of maturation. During these last months of finishing the cask toured the UK with supporters writing messages of support onto the cask. Only 200 bottles were produced and the first bottle signed by each member of the Team and on its return it will be auctioned for to raise funds for Walking With The Wounded charity.
