First developed in the sixties, Laurent-Perrier’s non-vintage brut is praised for its fresh style. The blend is composed of over 55 crus (with an average 95% rating) and a high proportion of reserve wines (normally between 10 and 20%).
Chardonnay predominates and accounts for 50% of the blend with 35% Pinot Noir and 15% Pinot Meunier. Laurent-Perrier Brut 75cl bottles are cellar-aged for a minimum of three years, and magnums four-five years before disgorgement and a light dosage of ‘liqueur d’expédition added. The champagne is rested several months longer before shipping.
