The Birdy two-piece shaker comprises a small 500ml tin (W85mm x H120mm) and a large 800ml tin (w90 mm x H170 mm. The small tin perfectly fits inside the large tin at an angle, creating a straight line to take advantage of the long-stroke when shaking. There is a 35mm overlap between the tins.

The small tin weighs 150 g and the large tin 230g with the weight of both tins distributed with the intention of creating a center of gravity that improves the efficiency of your shaking action.
Each tin is spin molded from a single sheet of stainless steel with no seams to a precise thickness of 0.8 to 1.0 mm on the side and 1.5 mm on the base.
Both shakers are hand-polished vertically in the direction of the shake to leave irregularities of less than a micron.
