Named after co-owners Ross Bryant and Jason Cormack who opened this tiny speakeasy-styled bar at the tail end of 2016. As befits such a venue and the theme, it doesn't shout about its location with the only giveaway a discreet branded frosted window illuminated by the warm glow inside. (However, Google maps pretty much takes you to the door).
Seating is for a mere 20 or so with a no standing policy, so even once you have successfully located these Detectives, they may be forced to turn you away. However, tables turn quickly so leave your name and number and they will call you back when a space becomes available.
Ross and Jason have built a great looking bar, with their back bar formed from warmly lit vintage cabinets. Drinks menus are presented in brown envelopes marked "confidential", which once opened reveal a good selection of classically styled cocktails -- the "No Yolk Sour" with bourbon, Malbec infused egg white, lemon and sugar typifies the offering.
