Distilled in 1957 and bottled in 2007, this rare Lowland malt was aged for 50 years in an Oloroso sherry butt which produced just 144 bottles. Bottled without chill filtration.

Appearance:

Clear, mid golden.

Aroma:

A subdued nose of pencil shavings and tobacco has eucalyptus, old leather and honeyed aromas.

Taste:

There is a touch of vegetal on the pine woody palate with notes of eucalyptus from the nose.

Aftertaste:

Herbal finish with stewed mint tea bitterness.
