Now discontinued, Gosling’s Gold is a blend of both pot and continuous column still distillates the majority aged five years (approx.. 98%) and a small amount aged two years (approx. 2%).

Goslings Gold has been discontinued and replaced by Goslings Gold Seal which has been discontinued.

Review and Tasting

Appearance:

Clear, light golden amber.

Aroma:

Attractive crème anglaise, vanilla rich nose with aromatic tropical fruit (apricot and mango), citrus zest and delicate spice.

Taste:

Easy going, medium bodied, slightly sweet, fresh tropical fruit/cooked fruit palate with pronounced buttery vanillin, delicate oak and mild spice with slight dusting of red pepper.

Aftertaste:

Flavour is quickly lost on the vanilla and cracked black pepper finish.
