Issued to commemorate the bicentennial of Colombia and aged for 8 years in American oak whiskey casks in the mountains of the Andes at almost 9,000ft above sea level in the region of Cundinamarca, where evaporation is minimal.

Appearance:

Clear, golden amber with polished copper highlights.

Aroma:

Peachy flesh and skin nose with zesty mandarin orange and soapy perfumed aromas.

Taste:

Light bodied, restrained, fruity, lightly oaked palate with fresh citrus zest and confectioner's tropical fruit flavours.

Aftertaste:

Very slightly smoky, lightly oaked, relatively short finish with lingering fruity liquorice.
