Pronounced ‘Aal-Tie’, this vodka is the result of a cooperation agreement between the Siberian distillery Altaï and Pernod Ricard and was first produced in 1994 to Pernod’s specifications after the French company invested in the Siberian plant.

Altaï is produced exclusively from Siberian raw materials. The region’s short summer and long winter ensure an early grain harvest and it is claimed that this young ‘winter’ wheat produces a sweeter and mellower taste. The water used is drawn from the rivers of the Altaï mountains that straddle the borders of Mongolia, China and Kazakhstan - hence the name.

Altaï is distilled using three column distillation process and filtered through silver birch charcoal.
