Origine Borderies Cognac is the first release in the "Les Étapes de L'Esprit" series by the Maze Churchill family, eaux-de-vie distillers since 1979 at their Domaine de Monplaisir family estate in the Borderies region.

Appearance:

Clear, golden amber with copper glints..

Aroma:

Crème brûlée, pecan pie, amaretti buiscuit, maple syrup, and vanilla with cinnamon and nutmeg spice. Faint parma violet.

Taste:

Tarte tatin, pecan pie, toasty oak, maple syrup and caramel with layers of dried fruit (dates and figs) and cinnamon-led spice.

Aftertaste:

Long. Nutty, caramel oak.

Overall:

Generously flavoured, complex and luxuriant
