Released mid-October 2011, this is the third release in Bowmore's Tempest series, first launched in September 2009. Aged for ten years in first-fill American oak ex-bourbon casks and bottled without chill-filtration. Only 1,850 cases were produced.

Appearance:
Clear, light golden.
Aroma:
Wonderful whiff of Islay peat smoke with more subdued zesty orange crème brûlée, sweet almonds and buttery barley sugar.
Taste:
Medium peaty smoked, sea salt palate with vegetal notes and zesty lemon and orange.
Aftertaste:
Long, dry finish holds the salty, smoky peatyness but tar and vanillins replace the citrus found on the palate.
