First brewed in 1988, Xingu looks like a stout but is in fact a Brazilian dark lager.
Sampled on 24/11/2011
Black with a hint of brown with thin tan head.
Dark chocolate nose with fudge, caramel and faint rolling tobacco.
Slightly sweet, roasted malt palate with slight nuttiness and mocha coffee with a dash of vanilla syrup.
Sweet 'n' sour, pumpernickel bread finish with caramel, bitter hops and citrus.
