A composition of 50 to 60 different eaux-de-vie mainly from the Fins Bois region, which have been aged for between four and ten years. Launched in 2002 and repackaged in 2011, this Cognac has a sits between VS and VSOP with a mid-range price and contemporary packaging.

Appearance:

Clear, coppery golden amber.

Aroma:

Caramel, black tea leaves, brioche, lemon and orange zest, vanilla and cinnamon spice with faint peanut butter and lavender.

Taste:

Brioche, caramel, black tea leaves, lemon and orange zest, vanilla, cinnamon and black pepper spice, and smoothing light honey sweetness.

Aftertaste:

Caramel, brioche, black tea leaves, black pepper and cinnamon spice. Lingering buttery caramel.

Overall:

A robust, lightly spicy (cinnamon and black pepper) cognac smoothed by buttery, nutty caramel and vanilla.
