The rums used in this Ron Barceló Añejo blend are aged a minimum two years and a maximum of six years in casks previously used to age American whiskey.
Aroma:
Strong golden syrup nose with hints of mandarin zest.
Taste:
Wonderfully buttery palate but lacks complexity, punch and depth – perhaps due to its disappointing 37.5% abv?
Aftertaste:
The finish is rich but plastically – as if stored in a plastic container.
