The Merlet family deservedly has something of a reputation for their macerated fruit liqueurs, particularly cassis (blackcurrant). Gilles Merlet was one of the regions pioneers in the 1970’s. This pear liqueur is made with a little pear eau-de-vie to boast flavour.
