Review and Tasting

Sampled on 17/01/2016

Appearance:

Clear, amber with very slight green tinge.

Aroma:

Candied lime zest with pronounced clove and more subtle nutmeg, cinnamon, cardamom and lemon thyme. Faint note of old-fashioned oil paint.

Taste:

Sweet, syrupy, candied lime zest with supporting clove spice.

Aftertaste:

Lime zest and lime cordial with sharp zesty lime acidity.

Overall:

This Bajan liqueur is a good alternative to sugar for sweetening cocktails with flavours of candied lime zest and clove.
