Made using 75% rum distilled from fermented cane juicee extracted from the first pressing of hand-cut Trinidadian sugar cane, and 25% rum distilled from fermented molasses. 10 Cane is so named because its makers estimate they require ten canes to distil enough rum to fill one 75cl bottle.

10 Cane is double distilled in a French made alembic pot still at a purpose built distillery on Angostura’s property in Trinidad but is operated by Moet Hennessy (LVMH). The rum is aged in first fill ex-cognac casks for just six months, giving it a hint of oak and a slight yellow hue.

The stylish, rectangular bottle is shaped a little like an old medicine bottle and features a howling monkey, a Trinidadian sign for the unexpected. It is finished with an orange flash, resembling a seal.
