The sizeable aged stocks at Glenlivet are evident in this malt which draws upon a wide variety of cask types, all with at least 21-years maturation, including a relatively high percentage of sherry compared to younger Glenlivet expressions.

Truly batch produced with the batch number recorded at the foot of the label - so expect slight variations between batches.

Appearance:

(batch No. 1109D) Clear, burnished copper with golden highlights.

Aroma:

Rich malted barley, candied orange peel, honeycomb and plump sultana nose with old wardrobe oak aromas.

Taste:

Generously flavoured, richly malted palate with honeyed sweetness, dry oak, nutty tobacco and heathery peat.

Aftertaste:

Dry, delicately smoked, oaky finish with cinnamon spice.
