Review and Tasting

Sampled on 07/01/2012

Appearance:

Slight haze, orange-amber with thick lasting head which leaves lacing in its wake.

Aroma:

Yeasty fruity nose (overripe banana, Cox apple, zesty orange and pink grapefruit) with caramel and a touch of bubble-gum.

Taste:

Nothing bland about this bittersweet brew. Hugely flavoured palate with malt aplenty, apple and orange fruitiness, a citrusy bite and a hint of coriander spice. Alcohol shows but belies its 8% strength.

Aftertaste:

Aftertaste: Citrusy banana cake and spice finish.
