Review and Tasting

Sampled on 15/12/2013

Appearance:

Clear, burgundy red with mauve notes.

Aroma:

Blackcurrant, blueberry and raspberry jam with notes of cherry and vanilla.

Taste:

Sweet berry fruit and vanilla with the açai berry flavour best likened to a cross between blackcurrant and blueberry. Faint chocolate and some balancing fruit tannins and acidity but still sweet.

Aftertaste:

Açai berries and lingering acidity.
