A blood orange flavoured liqueur made in Sicily with locally grown bittersweet Sanguinello oranges and lemon. A blend of three distillates made using copper pot stills, one made from the flesh of the oranges, one from the skins and one from lemons. It is sweetened with sucrose from sugar beets.

Solerno is packaged in a fabulously unique dumpy red coloured, bulbous bottle with a slender neck and a punt cleverly resembling the ribs of a citrus squeezer.

Originally 40% alc./vol., this lesser Delicato 27.5% version was released late 2020-early 2021 in a similarly-shaped bottle but with a stockier neck to house a standard pour spout and a shallower (but still juicer-shaped) punt in the base.
