Launched in 2010, this double IPA was developed by brand owner Tony Traen with contract brewer Dirk Naudts of De Proef Brouwerij. The Viven was originally established in 1999 by Willy De Lobel who passed it onto Tony in 2003. All Viven-branded beers are brewed by De Proef.

Appearance:
Cloudy, sandy orange amber with medium off white head.
Aroma:
Citrusy grassy hops with peachy fruit, pink grapefruit zest and pine forest freshness.
Taste:
Resiny pine, grassy, grapefruit zesty moderately bitter palate.
Aftertaste:
Resiny pine hop, grapefruit zesty, bitter finish.
