The Segnana distillery sits adjacent to the Ferrari winery in Trento allowing the gently pressed pomace to fermented and distilled while still fresh. Segnana's origins date back to 1860 when Paul Segnana started distilling grappa using a portable horse-drawn still travelling from winery to winery.

Appearance:

(bottle No. 291908) Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Fragrant, linseed oil rubbed balsa wood, quite green with green apple skin and peachy fruit aromas.

Taste:

Clean, mellow palate with gripping grape notes and slight apple and pear fruityness.

Aftertaste:

Slightly oily fruit with lingering fiery acidity.
