Produced in a microbrewery that only creates organic vegetarian beers, this bitter isn’t cleared using isinglass finings. The brewery, a 5 barrel plant, is situated at the rear of Marble Arch pub, a listed building in Manchester, with the copper and hot liquor tanks behind observational glass.
Sampled on 17/09/2012
(best before 10-Nov-12) Clear but with some sediment, pale golden with one finger thick long lasting fluffy white head.
Lightly malty with fragrant floral and grassy hops, a touch of caramel.
Initially sweet before balancing light touch of bitter pine sap hops emerges. Fairly light bodied session ale.
Caramel and lingering mild piney hops.
