Review and Tasting

Sampled on 22/09/2012

Appearance:

Clear but with lot of floaters sediment in bottle, burnished copper golden amber.

Aroma:

Fresh ripe peach and peach jam with faint herbal cashew nut and white pepper.

Taste:

Syrupy mouthfeel. Jammy peach flesh and skin, unctuous ripe peach juice and delicate cracked black pepper spirituous spice.

Aftertaste:

Mouth coating peach jam and almond-like peach stone with light cleansing zesty orange acidity.

Overall:

Despite the floaters (which are a sign of poor filtration), this rich crème liqueur has unctuous ripe peach and sweet peach jam flavours, toned by mild citric acidity.
