The 2nd beer resulting from the partnership between Sharp’s Brewery and Eden Project, a Cornish charity and social enterprise. Brewed with English Thyme grown by the Eden Project as well as Pilsner malt, whole Saaz hops and Czech lager yeast, this pilsner is cold matured before bottle conditioning.
Sampled on 24/09/2012
(best before 17-Jan-14) Clear, golden yellow with retentive one finger white head.
As if the glass has been lightly absinthe washed there’s a delicate anise and caraway seed aroma with lightly baked soft white baguette.
Light clean pilsner with interest delicately provided by thyme and caraway seed flavours.
Short finish but with lingering fennel freshness.
