Released September 2012, this is the 2nd in a series of limited edition releases from Knockdhu with label designs by the New York based Scottish illustrator, Peter Arkle. This one a black and white illustration of rows of casks disappearing into the distance.
Matured in American and Spanish oak sherry casks and bottled without chill filtration or caramel colouring.

Appearance:
Clear, mid-golden amber.
Aroma:
Pungent spicy vanilla with toffee, lemon zest, stewed apple and faint mocha coffee.
Taste:
Spicy dried fruit, vanilla rubbed old leather and toffee with zesty orange peel.
Aftertaste:
Long, old leather, lemon zest and vanilla with lingering spice.
