L' Original, bottled at 50% alc./vol., from Distillerie de Labourdonnais is made from fresh cane juice, fermented for 35 hours and distilled in a three-column still with a total of 39 plates. The distillate is rested in 25,000 litre stainless steel tanks prior to bottling.

Appearance:
Crystal clear.
Aroma:
Pungent, cut grass and cucumber with red apple skin fruity esters.
Taste:
Grassy pear skin, hairspray-like and black pepper.
Aftertaste:
Palate continues and lingers.
