Review and Tasting

Sampled on 29/10/2012

Appearance:

(best before 28-Feb-13) Clear, deep amber with a thin off-white head leaving light lacing.

Aroma:

Caramel, hay and faint cigarette ash-like hops.

Taste:

Heavily roasted, as the colour might suggest, but only/light to medium bodied. Caramel, light oakyness and generally a tad bland – but hardly going to be a big hitter at 3.8%.

Aftertaste:

Very short caramel finish with light pine hop bitterness.
