Nøgne Ø, a Norwegian brewery, produce this stout annually as one of their regular brews. It is brewed with Maris Otter, Munich, Roasted Barley, Oat, Black and Chocolate malts, as well as Columbus and Crystal hops and English ale yeast.

Appearance:

(best before 15-Nov-16, batch 723/731-A) Jet black with thick beige head and heavy lacing.

Aroma:

Burnt malt, nuts, liquorice and mocha coffee.

Taste:

Creamy mouth feel. Bittersweet filter coffee, grilled nuts, chocolate and well done toast with old leather, dried fruit and subtle spice.

Aftertaste:

Lingering charcoal burnt toast and mild peppery spice.
