Tiramisu (‘pick me up’ in Italian, or ‘bring me to the sky’) is a rich creamy dessert from Italy where it is thought to date back to the 16th century. Made with biscuit, coffee, cocoa, marsala liqueur and mascarpone, this flavoured sugar syrup has a similarly indulgent flavours.

Clear, golden yellow.
Burnt biscuits, mocha coffee, burnt butter, vanilla and caramel.
Liquid, sweetened tiramisu – think egg yolks, mascarpone cheese and cocoa.
Long chocolaty tiramisu. As flavoured sugar syrups go this is a perfect rendition.
