Renamed Allardice in 2009, GlenDronach 18 year old is the third expression in GlenDronach’s core range. It is matured in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at 46% without chill filtration or added caramel colour.

Appearance:

Clear, coppery amber with burnished copper highlights.

Aroma:

Nuts and dried fruit in a rich lightly bunt fruit cake with fudge, gentle cinnamon spice and slight vegetable oil note.

Taste:

Sherry soaked sultanas and raisons, lightly spicy oak, roast hazel nuts, dark chocolate, wood varnish and faint orange zest.

Aftertaste:

Long lingering nutty sherry, copper coins and varnish with lingering spicy oak.
