Review and Tasting

Sampled on 23/03/2013

Appearance:

Coppery golden amber with shades of polished copper coin.

Aroma:

Cedar wood and pine with eucalyptus freshness, dried fruit, fruitcake and leather. Light cinnamon and white pepper spice.

Taste:

This is a very old Armagnac (same age as me) so as befits its mature years is robust and classic in style. Forceful spice leads with notes of varnished cedar wood and dry tannins.

Aftertaste:

Long, spicy cedar wood finish.
