First produced in 1960 but based on a 1773 recipe handed down through generations of the La Grenade family from their relation, Captain Louis La Grenade. He is said to have received the rum based citrus fruit and spice recipe from a Dutch missionary as recompense for a free trip to Grenada.

Clear, very pale straw golden yellow.
Cooked orange zest, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Initially sweet and citrus zesty. Cinnamon and nutmeg spice quickly emerge to dry the palate and add depth of flavour.
Lingering black pepper and cinnamon spice with tart lemon zest. Basically a spiced citrus liqueur.
