Honey Spice IPA is a bottled conditioned IPA brewed with three grains (Best Pale Ale and Caramel Malts, Wheat) and infused with whole cone hops in the boil and dry hopped with a blend of four US varieties (Cascade, Centennial, Simcoe, Citra).
It is then spiced with ground peppercorns and sweetened with honey.
Sampled on 13/01/2016
(sample vintage 2013, best before 11/Nov/16) Clear and bright, golden amber with virtually no head.
Piney hops, dark honey, lemon thyme and grapefruit zest.
A orange zesty and piny hop forward IPA brilliantly rounded, softened and thickened with faintly sweet honey.
Piney lightly bitter hops with lingering honey.
