Review and Tasting

Sampled on 01/04/2011

Appearance:

Slightly cloudy (with precipitation), pale yellow.

Aroma:

Zesty, lemon oil, lemon curd and lemon sherbet nose.

Taste:

Clean, slightly bitter, fresh lemon zest palate with light peppery alcohol bite. Those used to the sweeter styled Italian limoncello may find this on the sour side.

Aftertaste:

Fresh, bitter and sour, lemon zesty finish with seemingly everlasting bitterness.
