As the name would suggest, this gin is distilled in English county of Kent with classical gin botanicals combined with botanicals from Kent including local hops, lavender from the national lavender collection at the Downderry Nursery, elderflower, rose hips and Samphire from Romney Marsh.
Of the 16 botanicals used to flavour Kent Dry Gin, nine are traditional gin botanicals: juniper berries, coriander, orris root, angelica root, cassia bark, liquorice, cubebs, lemon and bitter orange peel. Six are locally sourced: hops, lavender, elderflower, rose hips, camomile and samphire; with Kaffir lime leaves also added to up the citrus notes.
Grain neural spirit is batch re-distilled with the 16 botanicals in Patience, a 300 litre capacity Christian Carl copper pot-still.

Crystal clear.
Lavender, camphor and overripe banana from plentiful juniper with candied ginger, lemon and sage from the generous use of coriander seeds. Other botanicals add complexity but are used in judicious quantities so retaining a classic English gin character.
Clean and dry. Piney juniper leads with green herbal notes (particularly coriander), lime zest citrus, earthy nutty complexity and very gentle spice.
The palate lingers on the long dry finish with lightly spiced grassy pine.
Classic London dry gin in style, yet interestingly different with zesty lime, lavender, candied ginger and sage.
