Clear, burnished copper
Winter spice and berries with nutmeg, cardamom, clove studied baked apple, plum, blackberry and buttery pastry. Water tames spice amplifying leather and buttery pastry. Very faint sulphury note.
Rich and full-bodied with very spicy backbone. Brawny cinnamon, clove and nutmeg spice dominates slightly sweet red wine. As with the nose, water eases back the spice allowing sweet buttery pastry, apple and blueberry fruit to show in a now harmonious palate.
Apple, berry fruit and spice with faint honey. This malt needs a splash of water to present itself at its best.
