Review and Tasting

Sampled on 30/06/2014

Appearance:

(sample bottled 09/Apr/14, best before 09/Aug/14) Cloudy, amber with retentive medium off white head and heavy lacing.

Aroma:

Grassy/hay and piney hops with floral notes and candied grapefruit zest.

Taste:

Fairly bitter piney hops with more grapefruit and faintly sweet tropical fruit - particularly mango, all layered over a sound earthy, malty foundation.

Aftertaste:

Lingering brawny hop bitterness. Brash and American in style - yumm.
